Rico Creative Make It Tweed

Rico Creative Make It Tweed – Turn Any Yarn Into Tweed

Rico Creative Make It Tweed is a fine multicoloured carry-along effect yarn (50 g / 445 m) that scatters classic tweed flecks through your fabric. Hold it together with your main yarn and a plain wool sweater, simple beanie or basic cardigan instantly gets that woven, heritage-knit character — without buying a whole sweater quantity of tweed yarn. Each colourway blends several tones, so the flecks stay lively rather than uniform.

💡 Mix & Match: Knitting for the party season? Make It Tweed Glitz adds the same tweed flecks with a fine metallic shimmer woven in.

Why choose this tweed effect yarn?

• Instant Heritage Look: Tweed flecks read as hand-woven craftsmanship — held along with a plain merino or alpaca, even simple stocking stitch looks considered and expensive.
• One Ball, One Sweater: With 445 m on a 50 g ball, a single ball carries along through a full adult garment.
• Any Base, Any Gauge: The thread is fine enough to follow your main yarn without changing its gauge or drape — it works with fingering to chunky bases alike.
